Signed and numbered by the artist within the design, also on hessian backing.
The floral central circle is surrounded by stylised leaves and ferns with a dark brown border and abstract floral motifs.

Concessa Colaco(b1929) is Portuguese, a master tapestry maker and daughter of Madeleine Colaco the famous Brazillian tapestry maker who created the "Brazilian point".
Concessa worked with her mother for 25 years, and now creates her own tapestries full of fantastic flowers, scrolls, cherubs, fruit, and colour. The needlepoint artistry of Madeleine Colaco, and of her daughter Concessa Colaco, can be found on the walls of European and American museums, galleries and corporate headquarters.
