Description A framed pier mirror by the Rowley Gallery of Kensington Church Street, London.
(NB. The mirror plate has been covered to avoid reflection.)
The gold coloured frame supports a good sized mirror with a marquetry panel above.
The marquetry panel depicts a rural village, farmyard scene made up from a variety of woods. It is titled `Salcot`, based possibly on the Essex village of Salcott-cum-Virley near Colchester. William Chase was the main artist for most of the Rowley Gallery designs. Original paper label on the reverse
Medium Wood and glass.
Signed/Inscribed Paper label on reverse.
Condition Some slight scuffing of the frame, at the corners and edges.
